We are engineers and love to hunt and smoke flavored food. In search for unique and better flavors we found that exotic woods are perfect and provide that unique richer flavor. We wanted a richer more intense flavor, like Starbucks is to coffee. Being engineers we knew to get more intense smoke we needed more surface area. So we found shavings, not saw dust, not pellets, not chunks of wood, but thin sliced shavings.
When you use shavings the smoke is real thick and dense. The beginning of your smoking process is when the flavor is set and Smoker's Choice shavings do just that set a deep rich flavor that no one can put down. The shavings have greater surface area so it generates more smoke. They light easier than chunks or pellets and just do a better job.

Here at Smoker's Choice BBQ, we love to eat smoked meat and vegetables. It was our individual wood projects that led to Smoker's Choice Shavings. We also love the environment so we only use shavings from hardwood wood manufacturers that was destine for the landfill. We discovered that specialty hardwoods offer unique and richer flavor than traditional chips.
